If you are into thoughts, prayers, sourdough, and lifting spirits, perhaps you would like this honestly titled Bukowski poem, "Alone with everybody".
the city dumps fill
the junkyards fill
the madhouses fill
the hospitals fill
the graveyards fill
nothing else
fills.
#AloneWithEverybody? #NothingElseFills? Almost as inspiring as #StayHome!
But even if you don't like that poem/hashtag suggestion, you should check out our new Taylor Project song and film clip, "At the Pokies pub".

As well as on download, this song is available on VINYL by MAIL ORDER. It is one half of a split 7" vinyl single paired with a song ("Dunolly") by the wonderful Bone Folders, released through New Falconer records. This is our first time on vinyl.
The Pokies Pub song came from thinking about what the appeal of pokies pubs is: high among them has to be the near total lack of entry requirements, Key Performance Indicators, or other draining activities that are the hallmark of restructuring economies. A pokies pub can be a good place to hang out and not try hard, and not wonder if you are allowed to use the loo. But it does come with a very hefty price tag for most. It's a piano-based tune about luck, judgement, and the aesthetics of large gaming machine venues. Luck is a bird that comes to sit upon your shoulder when you need it least - but never mind.
